Children's & Adult's Classes
In the beginner's classes, we teach basic pronunciation and phrases in the first few weeks so that students can begin to communicate in English quickly and confidently. We will then build on this knowledge with focus lessons on grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure patterns in a wide range of everyday situations. Students can progress through six skill levels from beginner to advanced.
Adult's Conversation Class
We aim to help our students achieve fluency and confidence in their conversations. Through the use of vocabulary lists, along with question and answer style lessons, we work on improving skills in a wide range of topics. We work also work on pronunciation and grammar. As individual problem areas arise, these are addressed with focus lessons.
Business English Classes
We offer a wide range of classes that aim to improve your English in the workplace.
Some of the focus areas available for study are sales, marketing, banking, finance, administration, law, medicine, hospitality and tourism.
However, we can custom design a Business English course to meet any individual requirements.
If you'd like to book a group class for your employees, these can be taught as your office.
Short courses are available to work on individual skills such as writing business letters and emails, speech writing and basic phone conversation.
We also provide proofreading services to ensure that those important documents and reports are error free.
IELTS & TOEFL Preparation Courses
These English exam preparation courses cover the main four areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Grammar and vocabulary are also covered. Regular testing will help determine your starting level, as well as your progress. Students will take practice examinations in class to familiarise them with the exam format and to build confidence before they sit the formal exam.
Job Seeking Skills
Are you applying for a position in a company where English is the main language spoken?
We can help you write your application letter and curriculum vitae (resume).
We will also work to improve your job interview skills, including pronunciation and grammar if required.
These units are available for study as both a short course and a long term course.
Short Courses
These courses focus on individual skill areas. They run in length from one night to one month. Some of the topics available for study are job seeking skills, job interview skills, speech writing, basic phone conversation and writing business letters and email. We can also custom design a course based on your individual needs.
